The LC40LE820UN is a good-looking LED TV from Sharp, complete with their much-ballyhooed Quattron technology, which adds yellow to the traditional red, green, and blue palette. The difference? Yellows are more vibrant. Other than that, it's a standard edge-lit LED TV, with a smooth, bright picture and perhaps a little inconsistency with the black levels. It's a step up form Sharp's 810 series as well, featuring an edge-to-edge glass pane on the front, and an allegedly higher contrast ratio. Based on the list price, this is on the steep side, but at the street value of closer to $1100, it's a decent value for a large TV with these specs.
