The UN55C6500 is one of Samsung's famous LED-based TVs, a category in which they lead the field in performance. It's like the C6300 series with internet connectivity and the C6800 without local dimming. To us, local LED dimming is a worthwhile feature to have, though edge lighting still looks phenomenal and carries all the environmental and performance benefits of an LED set. A worthy purchase, though do consider the C6800.
