Editor's Review
Similar to the LV3700 model, the LV3500 is a great option if you want a mid-range set with solid picture quality and can live without the 3D technology. It's still an edge-lit LED display, so pictures are still brighter and more vivid than conventional LCD counterparts (and better on energy, too). Otherwise, the feature set is pretty standard, though it does have nice extras like an Intelligent Sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of your screen based on the amount of light in the room. The LV3500 also lacks Internet connectivity, considered a shortcoming in today's market, but since almost everyone already has a connected device -- game console, set-top box, or even just a laptop plugged into the TV -- most folks won't even notice. It's also limited to only 37- and 42-inch displays, so it's not a blockbuster set, but it'll work well in a smaller room. If you don’t mind sacrificing some of the latest and greatest features, this will suit you just fine.
