Isn't Olevia a new low-calorie sugar substitute? I seem to vaguely recall Syntax from elementary school grammar class. No, no, Syntax Olevia is a TV manufacturer. Sure, you've never heard of them, but that's no reason to simply shut them out, especially when they're putting out quality TVs at such low prices. You might find a surprising deal that... read more
Specifications
- 1600:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio: this is a decent, though not spectacular contrast ratio. It will get you pretty good blacks and white whites.
- 8ms pixel response time: this is a good, fast response time, which means you'll get less blurring in fast scenes.
- A good number of video inputs: 1 HDMI, 2 component (VGA runs as second component source), VGA, 1 shared S-video/composite
- No TV tuner: you'll need an HD input to get TV programming on this monitor. If you have cable or satellite, this isn't a problem (though you might have to upgrade to an HD cable box).
