16 months old and unwatchable

After 16 months of use my Olevia 27"LCD TV is unwatchable, first there was banding(gray verticle lines through the whole screen) then after watching a collage football game the field is burned into the screen. I called Olevia they offered to fix it at my cost $100 an hour labor plus parts! I understand I should have bought extended warranty. But still 16 months and its dead they could have atl east offered to pay shipping and parts.

My advise to everyone is stay away from Olevia. I babied this tv even added fans around it to keep it cool and it was only used 4hours a day max.
