Picture is good but hum is very annoying!
(Libra - 4/20/08)I purchased an Olevia 27" LCD 720p as a Christmas gift for my parents ($505 w/ship). Their Cox Sci. Ant. HDVR box's remote wouldn't work with the TV. They could not figure out the very cheap, slow Olevia remote to setup the picture.
I was able to figure out the very unresponsive remote to tweak the picture. Then I was able to use their Cox remote by going through a process that allowed the remote to pick up the correct frequency. I since found out that some cable remotes can use Syntax codes; but they're not on Cox's Sci. Ant. list .
This TV has an unacceptible hum which interferes with hearing low voices and distorts quiet scenes. It will be banished to my spare bedroom and I am getting them a better brand.
