Syntax Olevia may not be a name you're familiar with, but they've put together an affordable, 27 inch LCD television that isn't a piece of junk. For under $500, you can be enjoying high-definition television in your bedroom or on a countertop without having to worry that you invested in a lemon. We're confident in the quality of this TV set, and so are the dozens of people who have bought it and written their own review. You'll see below, people are very satisfied with this television set.
Trust Those Who Own It
The 27-inch Syntax Olevia 527V has features comparable to other name brand sets, with an excellent contrast ratio (providing deeper blacks and more powerful pictures) and some nice HD connections for your accessories. As one user says, this is "a lot of TV for little money," and that's something we can support. The only caveat is that the remote control is a little annoying, but that's not difficult to remedy with a cheap universal substitute.
"This TV really excels at showing HD content," says another user, though standard definition television may look a little blurry. This isn't really that TV's fault however, it's just easier to notice how regular TV is lacking when watching it on an HDTV.
