For a long time, you couldn't get an LCD TV in the 40" range, let alone one that wouldn't cost you an arm and a leg. Thankfully, Sony has stepped in and stopped the insanity with their 40" BRAVIA LCD. The superior image quality of LCD TVs can be had for only about $1,800, practically a steal for such a hot item.
