Sharp AQUOS 42" LCD TV Details
Editors' Comments
Sharp has a long and well-deserved reputation for creating superior LCD televisions, and this 42" masterpiece is no exception. The LC-42D62U is a big screen HDTV that offers good specifications.
Top of the Line Specifications
Since we've established that this TV is a great value, in addition to being cutting edge, let's focus on what you get for your money. The LC-42D62U has the highest HD resolution possible: 1080p. That's good if you want to use an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player, hook your TV up to your computer, or play a next-generation video game console. There aren't any broadcast TV signals that use 1080p yet, so it's definitely investing in the future. You can save some cash with 720p or 1080i, which are both fantastic resolutions.
A Triple Threat
We like this TV because it's a triple threat, with a little bit of each of our three pick categories. It's a good value, a great brand, and loaded with great features.
