The Sharp AQUOS 46" LCD television is a mainstream high-definition television that eschews the unnecessary high-end specs for excellent picture quality at a decent price. It's a 1080p set and performs very well with Blu-Ray content and next-generation video games. Though it's not as sleek looking in design as the competition, it still cuts a nice profile in a living room and will serve viewers quite well.

My sharp is an 08 model I paid 2,200 from future shop I did not purchase an extened warranty because who ever thought that an expensive top of the line tv would break down so soon. I called head office at customer service , I described that there are veritical green and red lines covering the screen that would last for hours and then the picture would clear itself up, based on my explanation he immediately accussed me of physical abuse agianst the tv, I've never heard of anything so ridiculous was he implying that i stood infront of the tv and through bricks at it? what an IDIOT! is this the best customer service they provide? he then instructed to snap pictures of the screen and upload to my computer to fully understand the problem this without ever sending a tech out for a real visual inspection Don't ever buy a sharp lcd tv, I may as well have bought a cheap tv from Walmart!
