many online buyers complain about picture failure after a few hours of use . Do you have knowledge of this and what is the cause?

From what I've read, it's the video boards overheating. Usually due to cheap soldering and defective design. It's enough to give one pause. There are better options out there, like the Kuro or the Sony Bravia.
