Contrast rattio of 1000:1, 1200:1 and 7000:1 will I notice a differance?

I see the Samsung LN-T3242H has a contrast of 7000 to 1 and the sharps have a 1200 to 1 and 2000 to 1. Which one is best for me. I mostly watch basic tv stations and rent a few movies. I will probally keep the tv I buy for many years. thankyou for your advice...

Between 1000:1 and 1200:1? Probably not. 7000-1? You bet. The blacks will be seriously black. And that's key to color.
