I want to use it as a PC monitor & receive HDTV. How much of the screen can I use/view as a PC monitor?

This will be in my 12X20 basement office (I have a Lenovo T61 ((Intel core 2 Duo T7300 (2.0GHz) w/ 2GB PC2-5300 DDR2Memory (Expandable to 4 GB, with a NVIDIA Quadro NVS video card (128MB) w/ AMT and an Advanced dock with a Lenovo DVI card). I want to eventually hook-up a surround sound sytem also use it for X-Box games and Blu-Ray movies...Am I missing any needed card, feature or power to eventually do all of these well (but for good cables & an informed tech to install?) Thanks in advance for any constructive critiques/ suggestions!

Ralph,

You should be able to use the entire screen as a monitor (just change your resolution to fit in your system settings). The television also has plenty of hookups for your surround system, gaming platform, BluRay player with three HDMI connections, one DVI connection, and two component connections. Good luck to you.
