If you buy this Sharp TV, you won't have to worry about upgrading for quite some time. The LC-32GP1U is the pinnacle of HD technology, capable of supporting 1080p content (currently only available on select accessories like PlayStation 3 and HD-DVD players, broadcast TV will top out at 1080i), and loaded up with connections that won't leave you wanting for a place to plug in your new high-definition toys. The 2,000:1 contrast ratio is one of the best we've seen, rendering pictures in all their glory without washing-out or dulling the blacks and whites.
