Is the picture uniform? I've read things about Sharp...

I've read things that say Sharps have some picture uniformity problems, uneven backlighting, I guess. I don't know, but this TV intrigues me for the price. If anyone knowledgeable can address this concern for me, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Not at all, the Aquos are some of the best lines of LCDs. It's not a Kuro, mind you ... but for the price, they're pretty good. And with 69/73 reviews on Amazon giving it 4 stars and above, you can't really argue that.
