defedtive remote (Pete - 6/14/09)

Just received the Philips 32PFL6704d -plugged it in and the screen came up "press green button on remote to begin" I pressed the green button and nothing happened. I called Philips CS and they informed me that the remote is defective and that they would send me a new one in 7-15 business days!! Without the remote, you cannot do anything except turn the TV on and off- I returned it. BEWARE!!
