Though Panasonic is better known for their exceptionally large plasma televisions, their more manageable LCD panels should not be overlooked. The Panasonic TC-32LZ800 is an excellent, affordable mid-sized LCD high-definition television that offers top-of-the-line specifications for those who want it all.
Though we typically don't recommend 1080p displays for televisions under 46 or 50 inches, the TC-32LZ800 is so affordable, it'd be hard to pass up. If you're a videophile looking to get the most out of your Blu-Ray player or next-generation HD video console, you won't find a better deal from a better brand name.
Specifications
- 1080p high-definition LCD TV: lots of pixels for such a small television, but at this price, it's not such a bad idea.
- 6.7ms response time: Very quick response time, well under the average 8ms. This will keep your pictures crisp and without blurring even in the most hectic scenes.
- 10,000:1 contrast ratio: deep dark black colors, Panasonic has made their LCDs rival their plasmas in this respect.
- 2 HDMI inputs: more would be nice, but two should tide you over if you're not overloaded with accessories.
