Which is better PDP-5070HD or PDP-5060HD?

I was going to buy the PDP-5060HD then I saw the PDP-5070HD is out.  Which tv is better?  In addition I researched the price for both sets and I can purchase the tv from differnt online stores for about the same price.  How can this be so?

The PDP-5070HD appears to be the latest model - Pioneer doesn't list the 5060HD on their own site, and it was released only a year ago.  Given that this is an area where there is a lot of improvement year-to-year, I recommend you go with the latest model (unless you can get a great deal on last year's).

I agree with Robert's answer, the PDP70 is the latest model from Pioneer. But why don't you look for this site's pick for the best "around 48" TV, the Panasonic 50" TV - it's got a great price, great brand name, and excellent specs.
