The TH-50PX600U has a PC Input, the TH-50PX60U does not; otherwise they are the same. The PC Input allows you to use this TV as a computer monitor. Big, expensive monitor :-)
Manufacturers in competitive consumer electronics have been making nearly identical models for a long, long time. This allows retailers to offer price guarantees -- "if you find the same model selling at a lower price from another store, we'll match it", knowing that there's not a huge chance this will actually happen (thus allowing the retailer to charge a higher price). Confusion is the friend of the manufacturer and retailer.
