Editors' Comments
What do you picture when you hear "$2,000 for a 65-inch HDTV"? A shady character in a beat-up van trying to unload a box full of bricks to a naïve consumer? A poorly written scam email from a dubious foreign diplomat looking to steal your hard earned money? How about Mitsubishi's excellent 65-inch DLP high-definition television, a very real and very amazing deal that you would be insane to pass up? The Mitsubishi WD-65731 can give you what you're looking for in an HDTV at a fraction of the cost.
Amazing Inch-per-dollar Ratio
This TV is big and inexpensive. What more do you need to know, really? Sure it's a little thicker than a flat-screen television (coming in at about 19.8-inches deep), but that's still magnitudes better than your old CRT. Plus, the 65-inch span will quickly make you forget an insignificant little number like 19.8.
Connections Galore
For such a reasonably-priced television, you sure get a lot of excellent features. Two HDMI inputs make connecting to high-definition sources a snap, but if that's not enough for you, there are two Firewire ports for connecting to camcorders, an input for your PC, and much much more. There's not going to be anything you can't hook up to this TV, and there's ample room for plenty of accessories.
User Satisfaction
To cap it all off, the Mitsubishi WD-65731 is getting a lot of love all across the internet, with satisfied users making their voices heard. Says one happy customer, "Oh sure I wanted a plasma at first. Then I realized how I'm going to feel like a schmuck in a year for not waiting until the prices went down. Then I came across this ingenius Mitsubishi tv ... This TV is hot and highly recommended. Now, everyone who sees my tv is in awe of its color, size, features and reputation." There's more where that came from. Check out the owner reviews!
